This page says whether the freestays platform uses artificial intelligence systems. The platform is pre-launch.
Status
According to the program code, the platform uses no AI systems. It does work with fixed rules: the platform rejects an application if a listing's minimum values are not met (for example reach or rating). Applications that the hotel does not decide in time expire automatically. The rating on a profile is the average of the ratings from completed agreements. A person at the hotel decides whether to accept an application. What is checked is the program code, not operation. If an AI system is used later, this page is changed first.
Legal assessment
Whether obligations under the AI Act apply to the platform, and whether rejection by fixed rules and automatic expiry are automated decisions under Art. 22 GDPR, is open for legal review.
